Fugitive appearances

Film work of three years of shooting in about forty Parisian cemeteries,

“Fugitive Apparitions” is the expression of a particular vision of the cemetery. This gaze reveals the dynamic and ephemeral existence of a multitude of reflections captured on the glass doors of cellars.

Indeed two environments are superimposed on it ; the interior of the tomb, dark, where there is a stained glass window full of icons, and the external environment, the sky, nature and the city. The combination of these two environments works in such a disturbing way that the intermediary of the glass surface becomes very difficult to perceive.
